Motorcycle weekend: 4 days in the land of champions

Meeting in hotel in Pesaro, a city with a great motorcycle tradition that has given rise to many great riders and unrepeatable champions such as Valentino Rossi. Briefing at the hotel with the guides about the tour and delivery of the Road Map. Dinner and overnight.
From your hotel, we suggest a short walk to Piazzale D’Annunzio to see Valentino’s Giant Helmet, inaugurated in August 2022.

Departure from the coast of Pesaro to the beautiful inland roads and the Apennine passes that connect Le Marche with Umbria regions. Exciting ridings inserted in extraordinary landscapes. On the way back we will stop in Urbino, for a short visit to the birthplace of Raffaello Sanzio and to one of the capitals of the Italian Renaissance. Back to the seaside in the afternoon for an aperitif at sunset at the harbour of Pesaro. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the hills of the Metauro Valley. Stop in Pergola, city of the Golden Bronzes and Visner (a typical sour cherry wine). After a good coffe break, we will start to climb up to 1525 meters of Monte Nerone in a succession of hairpin bends and fabulous views. Lunch in refuge, from which you will admire the whole valley. Going down to the valley, after lunch, we will take the ancient Flaminia consular road inside the incredible Gola del Furlo and then continue towards the sea, through the Pesaro hills. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfastat the hotel and departure to the medieval village and castle of Gradara, stopping at the VR46 Store in Tavullia along the road. In the late morning we will be in Pesaro again for a visit to the Officine Benelli Museum and the ASI Morbidelli Collection, a unique collection of rare vintage motorcycles. Back in the saddle, we will take the mythical panoramic road of Monte San Bartolo which, in a succession of curves and changes of slope overlooking the sea, winds its way from Pesaro to Gabicce. The “Pano” is the training ground for the many geeks, riders and great champions that this land has given birth to, from the first Benelli tests at the beginning of the 1900s to Valentino Rossi. Along the way we will stop for lunch in a typical fish tavern. Our ride will finish in the square of Gabicce Monte with its spectacular view of the Riviera Romagnola. It’s time to say goodbye and “arrivederci” to your riding friends.
