1st day: Camerano caves , visit of the underground complex of caves and tunnels, with circular rooms and vaults . Transfer to Sirolo “Pearl of the Adriatic”, a medieval village with a panoramic walk overlooking the sea, you will then discover two places of high spirituality: the Abbey of San Pietro and the church of Santa Maria di Portonovo, places of striking beauty in the splendid setting of Monte Conero.
2nd day: Little castles of Le Marche region, starting from Genga, an ancient medieval village where you will visit the Museum of History, Art and Territory. You will continue towards Nidastore, one of the nine castles of Arcevia, “Nido degli Astori” or nest of the Falcons, whose settlement dates back to 1400, you will then reach another castle: Loretello built in the 1072 by the monks of Fonte Avellana. Last stop is Arcevia, ancient Fortress, visit of the village and the church of Santa Maria del Soccorso.
3rd days: Visit of San Quirico and the Abbey of Sant’Elena, a Roman-Gothic style building founded by San Romualdo, one of the most important Benedictine abbeys of Vallesina. You can admire the medieval walls still intact and the characteristic streets called copertelle. You will visit the Church of Santa Lucia which houses works by masters such as Guido Reni and Cavalier d’Arpino.
