Lorenzo Lotto masterpieces in le Marche

First day: The beautiful views of Mount Conero, ANCONA visit of the Doric city and Lorenzo Lotto’s places, the Civic Picture Gallery which preserves the “Sacra Conversazione”, also called “Alabarda Altarpiece”, the Church of San Francesco alle Scale that host the “Altarpiece of the Assumption” painted in 1550.

Second day: MACERATA,  discover the beautiful historical center rich in Renaissance and Baroque architecture, Lorenzo Lotto exposition at Palazzo Buonaccorsi, a collection of his masterpieces . MONTE SAN GIUSTO and the evocative paint the “Crocefissione”.

Third day: LORETO, the suggestive Sanctuary, an important pilgrimage site and part of Lorenzo Lotto itinerary. RECANATI, following the footsteps of the Venetian master, visit of the Civic museum of Villa Coloredo Mels house of some beautiful masterpieces: the “Polyptych of San Domenico”, the “Transfiguration of Christ”, influenced by the Raphael, “San Giacomo Maggiore” and the masterpiece “Annunciation”. The “Infinitive’s hill” so dear to the great poet Giacomo LeopardiBeniamino Gigli important tenor of the Italian music scene.

Fourth day: JESI to discover the hometown of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia, the collection of Palazzo Pianetti.
