1° Day: la costa dei trabocchi, San Vito Chietino e Pescara.

The places of the great poet D’Annunzio, the Trabocchi coast, from Ortona to Fossacesia you can admire the beautiful fishing machines. Visit of the Eremo of D’Annunzio, a cottage that overlooks the seaside in San Vito Chietino area. Pescara and the house of the great poet, a sweet end with a taste of “Parrozzo”, traditional Abruzzo’s sweet.

2nd Day: San Clemente a Casuria, Cocullo, Anversa dei Abruzzi

Day between nature and culture

Visit of San Clemente a Casuria whit its suggestiv Benedicting Abbey, one of the most important monuments of medieval Abruzzo. Later you will see Cocullo, historical village famous for the “serpari” festival. In the afternoon transfer to Anversa degli Abruzzi, traditional shepard place, carachterized by the Natural Reserve of Sagittarius gorge, this place has been the scenario of the tragedy “La fiaccola sotto il moggio” written by D’Annunzio.

3rd Day: Guardiagrele

Guardiagrele, lovely town located in the Majella park, it has been defined the “Abruzzo terrace”, visit of the historical centre and the Museum of local tradition an costumes, that reconstructs the environments of the life of the ninetheeen century. Taste of “sise di monache” , traditional local sweets made with sponge cake and cream.
